I’m Dumitru. Marketing & Growth leader, based in the Zurich area.
I help tech companies identify growth blockers, then fix them. By myself, with your team, or trusted specialists. My background combines hands-on marketing with team leadership and P&L responsibility.
The experiences that shaped me
At idealo, I led a 24-person cross-functional team across Sales, Brand, Performance marketing and Content/SEO. Earlier roles included SEO and content operations at Atolls, business development and performance marketing at Creative Clicks, and product/growth work at Movinga.
That experience helps me connect channel decisions with the wider business. I can contribute to the strategy and get involved in the practical work where needed.
My approach
I’m interested in why people make decisions and what helps them feel valued. In a team, that means listening carefully, recognising strengths and making room for honest disagreement.

I enjoy building and testing ideas. A focused experiment gives us a way to learn before making a larger commitment.

I build on people’s strengths and give feedback that helps them move forward. Respect should remain present when a situation is difficult.

I value freedom and clear ownership. The work should help your team make decisions and continue without unnecessary dependency on me.
Honesty
I say what I know, what I’m assuming and what I cannot yet support with evidence. The same standard applies to the claims we make to customers.
Ethics
I want growth to create value for customers and respect the people affected by it. Deception and personal gain at someone else’s expense are not acceptable ways to get there.
Positivity
I look for a useful next step, even when something has gone wrong. We can acknowledge a problem without staying stuck in blame.
Intentionality
I want to understand why a goal matters before choosing the activity. An established habit is worth questioning if it no longer serves the purpose.
Health
I value movement and a sustainable pace of work. I want commitments to leave enough room for recovery and a life outside work.
Based in the Zurich area
I work with clients across Europe and can work in English, Italian, Spanish, Romanian or Russian. I’ve lived in nine countries, which has given me the opportunity to appreciate cultural differences and challenge my own assumptions.
Outside work, I enjoy running, boxing and time in nature.
